Texts, DMs and social posts are easy to crop or fake. PEA checks whether the details that identify a post are visible (date and time, reply-to, account, full screen) and looks for signs of cropping or editing.

PEA preserves the original file and shows, finding by finding, what it can and can't confirm about an image, including signs of AI generation or editing. Anyone you share the result with can verify the certificate.

Whether you need to show your own photo is untouched or question someone else's, PEA looks for signs of AI generation and editing, checks Content Credentials, and says plainly when there isn't enough to go on.

How it works

Upload the original file
Not a photo of your screen or a printout. The original file keeps the details that matter.
- Step 2
Read the findings
Confirmed facts and concerns are listed separately, with a grade from 1 to 10. If an image can't be assessed, such as a frame from a video or a photo of a screen, you see “Not assessed” instead of a guess.
- Step 3
Seal it with a certificate
The file's SHA-256 fingerprint is sealed with an Ed25519 signature and a timestamp from a third-party time-stamping authority (RFC 3161). Anyone can check the certificate number on PEA's public verification page.
What we won't claim
An evidence tool is only useful if you can trust what it says about itself. So here is what PEA does not promise.
No accuracy percentages
Every detection method misses things. We show our reasons instead of a score you have to take on trust.
No promise that a court will accept it
A certificate records what was checked and that the file hasn't changed since. It doesn't prove who took a photo or when.
A screenshot can't prove a post existed
So the highest grade a screenshot can get is 6, however clean it looks.
Not legal advice
PEA is a first check and a way to preserve a file. For decisions that matter, talk to a lawyer.
Your images stay private
- Our admin screens don't show users' images. Staff see an image only if you ask for a human review and agree to share it.
- Results you don't turn into a certificate are deleted after 7 days.
- The verification page shows the certificate's details, never the image itself.

When will the English version open?
We're preparing it now. Join the list and we'll email you once when it opens. We'd rather not promise a date we might miss.
Can I use PEA today?
Yes, in Japanese, at pea.luminasparkdesign.com. The English version adds English screens, reports and certificates.
How much will it cost?
We plan to keep a free way to try it, with paid certificates and plans for regular use. Prices will be announced in US dollars before launch.
Is PEA a forensic expert?
No. PEA is a first check that also preserves the file. If a case needs expert testimony, a qualified forensic examiner should review the evidence.
